Research Leader Pharmaceutical Biotechnology Unit
Dr. Bonilla holds a Pharmacy Bachelor’s Degree from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia (2006) and completed her doctoral studies in Cellular and Molecular Pharmacology at the Comprehensive Cancer Research Center of Salamanca (Spain) (2014). She received a postdoctoral fellowship from the Colombian government for the study of stem cells in leukemia at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia. Since 2022 Dr Bonilla has served as research leader at the Pharmaceutical Biotechnology Unit at IDCBIS, focusing on monoclonal antibodies research and development.
Dr. Bonilla also provides specialized professional services to the Ministerio de Salud y Protección Social, contributing to health technologies and human health research regulations (2021).
