Biotech Business Development Manager
Dr. Torres is responsible for business development and project management at the UDIBI-IPN. He obtained his degree in Biotechnological Engineering from the UFPS in Colombia. Since 2014, he has worked on molecular biology projects at the IIB-INTECH in Argentina. He then pursued a Master’s and Doctorate in Biotechnology at the ENCB-IPN, receiving honors in both degrees. He has worked on research projects in nanotechnology and biomedicine applied to oncological diseases. Additionally, he has contributed to the development of bioterapeutics with therapeutic applications for cancer and infectious diseases. His scientific contribution includes 7 publications. He’s a finalist in Mexico’s Hult Prize and received the 2021 Youth Award.
