Luis holds a Nursing License and specializes in Oncology from FENO-UNAM. Additionally, he has a Master’s degree in Infusion Therapy and Vascular Access from the University of Catalunya. Currently, Luis serves as the Team Leader of the Infusion Therapy team at the UMAE Hospital of Oncology, CMN Siglo XXI, IMSS. He actively participated with the SSA-CPE in updating the manual for patient care during infusion therapy, specifically NOM-022-SSA3-17. Luis also contributed to the development of recommendations for managing central venous pressure catheters (CVPc) in Latin America. Furthermore, he is a founding member and the current president of the Mexican Association of Professionals in Infusion Therapy and the Latin American Confederation of Infusion Therapy.
