Process Development Scientist
Dr. Reséndiz started his educational career at UAM majoring in Biochemical Engineering. He later attaining his Master and Ph.D. in Biotechnology at CINVESTAV, then went on to a post-doctoral fellowship at CINVESTAV by a Health – Carlos Slim Foundation post-doctoral grant. He has held numerous researching positions in the biotech/biopharmaceutical areas including CINVESTAV and LANGEBIO, resulting both in a patent as well as peer reviewed publications. Currently, Dr. Gerardo is a Process Development Scientist at Merck. His areas of expertise include nucleic acid molecular biology, bacterial and yeast recombinant cell expression and bioreactor technologies, Chromatography purification technologies, TFF and NFF filtration and nano-filtration. His industry collaborations have resulted in numerous co-customer projects and presentations.
