Executive Manager

Fernando is the Executive Manager of the Brazilian Association of Contract Research Organizations (ABRACRO) since 2011. In this role, he leads the strategic development and operations for the clinical research industry in Brazil. Fernando also owns BSI Intelligence, providing business development services and clinical operations support to pharmaceutical companies. He specializes in Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), clinical trial site identification, and health technology assessment (HTA). Since 2012, Fernando has coordinated the Clinical Research and Medical Affairs Post-Graduation program at Faculdade de Ciências Médicas da Santa Casa de São Paulo. He is responsible for modules on clinical trials management, medical affairs, and health economics. As a consultant for RIGHT CONCEPT, Fernando delivers courses on medical affairs and business development. He is a guest professor at FGV Management (IDE), where he teaches business planning in the health sector, and has lectured at FIA Business School on health economics and technology assessment.
Fernando holds a Ph.D. in Nutrition in Public Health from the Universidade de São Paulo (USP), a Master’s degree in Health Management from Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV), and an MBA in Health Management and Economics from the Universidade Federal de São Paulo (Unifesp).
