Silvia Giaffone

Silvia Giaffone is Senior Manager and Pharmacovigilance Lead for the Brazil and Argentina affiliates at Amgen. With over 17 years of experience in regulatory affairs and 9 years in drug safety, she leads cross-functional efforts to align pharmacovigilance strategies with local and global regulatory expectations. At Amgen, Silvia supports the safe and appropriate use of innovative and biosimilar medicines, and actively contributes to initiatives that strengthen post-marketing safety systems and promote regulatory compliance. She holds a degree in Pharmacy and Biochemistry from the University of São Paulo (USP) and a MBA in Business Management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV).
