Rodrigo Ruiz is Pharmacovigilance Manager at Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS) in Mexico, overseeing a diverse portfolio that includes innovative pharmaceutical and biotech products. Rodrigo Ruiz has extensive experience in understanding and controlling the Benefit-Risk profile of the medicines that BMS currently sells and that are in the Research stage. He is also responsible for developing and applying the Risk Management Plans for the products of BMS, as well as observing the punctual compliance with current regulations on Pharmacovigilance, Mexican Official Standard – 220 – SSA1 – 2016: Operation and installation of Pharmacovigilance. Rodrigo is a Physician graduated from the Mexican Faculty of Medicine at La Salle University, he specialized in Pharmaceutical Medicine at the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN) in 2012, obtaining the specialty certificate in the matter. In 2014, he graduated with a Global Master in business administration (Global MBA) from the Arizona State University-School of Global Management and the EGADE from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (ITESM-Tec de Monterey). In February 2018, he completed the Diploma in Management Skills Development at the Autonomous Technological Institute of Mexico (ITAM).
