LifeFactors, Colombia
Global Strategy Director
I am a bacteriologist committed and passionate about public health and understanding the interactions between economics and health. I have been working on safety, quality, universal access, and self-sufficiency of blood, tissues, and anatomical components, through impact evaluation studies, both economic and social assesment. After working in Invima and Ministry of Health, I joined to the diagnostic industry to understand it and now I work as Director of Plasma for LifeFactors; my challenge is to ensure that the human plasma that is currently wasted in our region can be used as raw material for the production of essential medicines for our populations.
