MD in Molecular Biology and Executive Director with over 15 years of experience in pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies such as Biomm, Amgen, UCB, Eli Lilly and Sandoz. He has an MBA in Marketing at the University of British Columbia (Sauder Business School) at Vancouver city, in Canada. Rafael currently is the Executive Director at Biomm, a Brazilian biopharmaceutical company listed in stock exchange and focused in manufacturing and marketing highly complex therapeutic biologics. At Biomm, he is in charge of business development, marketing strategy, commercial and sales activities involving biosimilars for treatments in therapeutic areas such as cancer, diabetes, thrombosis, inflammation and retina. He believes in the role of biosimilars to potentially expand market access, help the healthcare system in terms of sustainability and help even more patients to achieve their treatment goals.
