Matthias has more than 30 years’ experience in microbiology including pharmaceutical quality control, research and process validation. Since 2009 he is heading the CONFIDENCE® Validation Services Laboratories in Germany and consults filter user within GMP environment in technical and regulatory aspects of sterilizing grade filter validation. He is Bacteria Challenge Test expert and has been member of the respective PDA and ASTM groups for several years. Matthias has practical experiences from interaction with the FDA and EMA.
