Mario is biotechnologist engineer with specialty in biological production graduated from the Interdisciplinary Professional Unit of Biotechnology (UPIBI) of the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN).
He has more than 20 years of experience in biotechnology, with a special focus on Upstream microorganisms and mammalian cells culture. He worked in various Mexican companies in the biopharmaceutical industry, some of his rolls were, production supervisor, responsible for the development of new products, clone maintenance, cell banking, and worked as a research engineer in the production of viruses’ particles. He is currently an applications specialist and technical representative of Infors LATAM, a Swiss company that manufactures equipment dedicated to cultivating microorganisms such as “shaker” type incubators and bioreactor.
