Professor at the University of Brasilia – Brazil, Pharmacovigilance Manager of the Brazilian Agency for Health Regulation (Anvisa) and President of the Chapter Latam of the International Society of Pharmacovigilance, the pharmacist has a doctorate from the University of São Paulo and has more than 15 years of experience in the field of pharmacovigilance and patient safety. At the Brazilian Ministry of Health, he participated in the creation of the National Commission for the Incorporation of Health Technologies (Conitec). At the Brazilian Hospital Services Company (Ebserh), a public state company, he led the implementation of surveillance services in more than 40 Brazilian public university hospitals. She is the author of articles, books and other publications in the field of pharmacovigilance and patient safety.
