Studied a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry by the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), and later obtained a Master of Science Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences by the University of Tokyo (awarded a MEXT Scholarship-Monbukagakusho Shougakukin).
Coordinates the research and development of new products for both Mexican and American markets, as well as the academic link for attracting innovations from the academic sector. Focuses also on API manufacturing and development, as well as on Quality Compliance. Side tasks also include product optimization.
Currently contributes as a Counselor at the National Association of Medicine Producers (Asociación Nacional de Fabricantes de Medicamentos A.C., ANAFAM), as well as in the Mexican Pharmaceutical Laboratories Association (Asociación Mexicana de Laboratorios Farmacéuticos A.C., AMELAF). Member of the Operations Committee of the National Chamber for the Pharmaceutical Industry (Cámara Nacional de la Industria Farmacéutica, CANIFARMA), and recently nominated to form part of the R&D work group at the General Sanitation Council.
