MD specialised in Pharmaceutical Medicine and Pharmacopolicies, in addition to teaching Pharmacovigilance in the postgraduate Pharmaceutical Medicine at the School of Medicine of UBA, at the ISALUD University I’m a General Coordinator of the Course of Comprehensive Management of Rare Diseases. I am providing a nonprofit collaboration, as Medical Advisor; Argentine Federation for Rare Diseases (FADEPOF,62 NGOs patient advocacy); since 2009 I coordinate Smith-Magenis Syndrome group. I provide complete external advice in special molecules like orphan drugs; also I instruct in basic and specialised training of pharmacovigilance for several of these orphan drugs. I have developed a professional rapport with KOL, key decision makers, and authorities of the local regulatory agency, ANMAT, as well as with the authorities of the Nation Health Ministry, researchers of CONICET and of faculty academia. My professional career began as a gastroenterologist in both public and private hospitals. Over the years, I further focused my professional interest in the pharmaceutical industry. I worked in leading Argentinean pharmaceutical companies, training marketing and sales force teams in gastroenterology, hepatology, neuroscience, dermatology, medical diagnostics, internal medicine, ophthalmology).In HLBPharma I was responsible for pharmacovigilance and was promoted to the Medical Manager. In Bagó as Medical Affairs for Asia/Europe/Africa, I worked with marketing and market access teams to ensure the compliance of the company with the framework of local and international standards. I expanded my experience in oncology, special medications, and infectious diseases lines. Having participated in the processes of development and launching of new molecules, I supervised the preparation and implementation of medical activities such as communication, educational and medical media support; as well as implementing clinical trials.
