Brian Wendelburg joined the contract testing and services arm of Sartorius Stedim Biotech as a Senior Application Scientist in early 2016. He received his PhD from the Institute of Molecular Biophysics at the Florida State University and completed his postdoctoral training at Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of North Carolina, School of Medicine in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Brian has worked in various capacities and sectors of the biotechnology industry for two decades including diagnostics, genomics, proteomics and cell and gene therapy. As an application specialist he provides scientific and application support to Sartorius’ commercial teams in the Americas for all custom Cell Line Development, Cell Bank Manufacturing, Biosafety Testing and Bioanalytical Testing (physicochemical and bioassay) services.
